Questions
How many vinyl pressings of Sextet are there?
10 vinyl pressings of Sextet are listed here, from 7 countries, released between 1982 and 2020.
When was Sextet first released on vinyl?
The earliest pressings are from 1982, in UK, France, Ireland, Italy and more. One of them is Factory Fact 55, released January 1982.
How do I tell if my copy of Sextet is a first pressing?
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use Fact 55, 201901, VFact 111-21, 33-003 L) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, FACT 55 A1 EG STRAWBERRY C.B.E. and FACT 55 B1 EG STRAWBERRY ALL THE BEST EGGHEAD!. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
How much is Sextet on vinyl worth?
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
