Angine de Poitrine is a Québécois microtonal, psychedelic groove rock duo based in Saguenay, Quebec, Canada. The group is comprised of Khn de Poitrine, who plays luthier-made, custom double-necked basses and guitars, plus drummer / percussionist Klek de Poitrine. The two members wear black and white polka-dotted costumes and elaborate, large papier-mâché masks. The group is named after the medical condition "angina pectoris" ("angine de poitrine" in French). Angine de Poitrine formed in the Chicoutimi borough of Saguenay, Quebec, in 2019. The duo members have been musical collaborators for two decades, having performed together in various projects since the age of 13.
