Anticappella was a project steered by producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. Their first and one of the most well-known tracks is "2√231", an instrumental, which became a club hit in 1991. The same year "Everyday" was released and did well in the southern Europe club scene. In 1993 the songs "I Wanna Love You" and "Movin' To The Beat" were released. They both did quite well, especially outside of Europe. Next year saw the release of Anticappella's biggest hit, "Move Your Body", featuring MC Fixx It, a rapper from Holland who had worked with Twenty 4 Seven. It charted in many European countries.
