Antonio Abad Lugo Machín. Antonio Machín (born in Sagua la Grande, Cuba 11 February 1903 – 4 August 1977, Madrid) was a Cuban singer and musician. Moved to Spain in 1936. His version of El Manisero, recorded in New York in 1930 with Don Azpiazú's orchestra, was the first million record seller for a Cuban artist. Played/sang with the (Cuban) Trío Luna, Orquesta de Don Azpiazu... Brother of Pedro . Do NOT confuse with Cuban composer Aurelio Machin ("Tu Rica Boca", "Pa' La Paloma", etc.).
