Questions
How many vinyl pressings of Ass are there?
18 vinyl pressings of Ass are listed here, from 12 countries, released between 1973 and 1996.
When was Ass first released on vinyl?
The earliest pressings are from 1973, in UK, US, Netherlands, Australia and more. One of them is Apple Records SAPCOR 27, released November 26, 1973.
How do I tell if my copy of Ass is a first pressing?
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use SAPCOR 27, SW-3411, 5 C 062-95191, EAP-80948) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, SAPCOR 27 A-1U R 1 and SAPCOR 27 B-1U C 1. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
How much is Ass on vinyl worth?
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
