Danish progressive band mixing rock, blues and jazz elements into their heady brew. On 22 May 1967 the band performed at Munkekælderen (Copenhagen club) as ”M/S Mitte – The Burnin Red Ivanhoes”. The official debut comes on December 14, 1968 at the Brøndby Pop Club as support to Spooky Tooth. The concert collected such positive comments that the group obtained a contract with a record company, and in the summer of 1969 "M144" was released. The recordings aroused admiration not only in Denmark, but also in Germany and England and the band was the first, among the Scandinavian ones, to achieve international success.
