17 vinyl pressings of Magical Ring are listed here, from 10 countries, released between 1983 and 2017.
The earliest pressings are from 1983, in UK, US, Australia & New Zealand, Canada and more. One of them is RCA RCALP 6072.
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use RCALP 6072, VPL1 7466, KKL1-0541, PL 25462) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, RCALP 6072 A-1U 1 - 3 ⇀ y 1 (Hand etched):TimTom - cbs and RCALP 6072 B-1U-1 - 5 ↼ 13 (Hand etched):Ty - cbs. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
