Australian punk trio from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in the mid 1980s. Originally Bill Walsh and Peter Jones were in , which broke up in 1985. Before that they invited Ross Knight to join the group, and soon after that Cosmic Psychos was born. Robbie Watts replaced Peter Jones after the recording of the live "Slave To The Crave" album in 1990. At the end of 2005, after a long hiatus, the Psychos went to the studio to record the album "Off Ya Cruet!" with new drummer Dean Muller (ex Voodoo Lust) replacing Bill Walsh. After the shock of the tragic loss of Robbie Watts (from a heart attack), it was an option to drop the brand "Cosmic Psychos".
