Swedish death metal band from Stockholm, formed in April 1988 (initially as Dismemberizer) by David Blomqvist (guitar), Robert Sennebäck (vocals, bass, guitar) and Fred Estby (drums). Dismember recorded two demo tapes, "Dismembered" in 1988 and "Last Blasphemies" in 1989, after which the band split up as Estby joined Carnage and Blomqvist joined Entombed. After Carnage disbanded Estby, Blomqvist and Kärki reformed Dismember and recorded the "Reborn in Blasphemy" demo in 1991. Then Sennebäck came back and bass player Richard Cabeza joined the band. They were signed to Nuclear Blast and released the debut full-length"Like an Ever Flowing Stream" later in 1991.
