Julio Ernesto Estrada Rincón. Colombian composer, producer, performer and bandleader. Born in Medellín on 7 July 1951). He joined in 1965, with whom he recorded for seven years. Initially known as Joselito he began to be called Fruko because of his resemblance to a character in a canned food advertisement that said: "La salsa de tomate Fruco (original name of the product)... el secreto del sabor" (Fruco tomato sauce... the secret of flavour). In the 1970's he formed ("teso" is a synonym of "tieso", implying they were "the tough guys of the neighbourhood").
