Paul Francis Gadd. Flamboyant British glam rock singer. Born May 8, 1944 in Banbury, Oxfordshire Gadd began his recording career as in 1960. In 1971, with management by , he became active in the glam rock genre under the name Gary Glitter. His career floundered in the mid-1970's. In the 1980's he regained attention through the 1984 comeback "Another Rock N Roll Christmas", as well as being sampled by The Timelords for "Doctorin' The Tardis". His career ended following various pedophile convictions.
