English progressive rock band, formed in the autumn of 1972 by Dave Greenslade and Tony Reeves, who both had played in Colosseum, together with Dave Lawson (keyboards) (ex-Samurai) and Andy McCulloch (drums) (ex-Fields). They made two critically well received albums 'Greenslade' and 'Bedside Manners Are Extra' in 1973. In 1974 the third album 'Spyglass Guest' made the album Top 40 in the UK. Tony Reeves then left the band and was replaced on bass by Martin Briley (who also contributed guitar) for the band's fourth album 'Time And Tide' the following year. The band split in 1975, but after the release of Dave Greenslade's solo album 'Cactus Choir' the band 'reformed' and toured in 1977.
