Hed Boys is none other than legendary house maestro Dave Lee ( Brad Hed.), and his production partner Andrew Livingstone ( Gavin Hed ) , The duo had already secured chart success and were well known to A&Rs across the UK. When “Girls & Boys” sparked a bidding war among labels, the guys decided to amuse themselves by keeping the identity of the Hed Boys under wraps by inventing ridiculous personas for themselves, complete with large unruly wigs, bristling moustaches & outlandish accents. Dave and Andrew, dressed in a variety of ultra silly disguises, held meetings with Deconstruction bosses masquerading as two newbie producers with a killer new dance track.
