15 vinyl pressings of Like Gangbusters are listed here, from 13 countries, released between 1983 and 2023.
The earliest pressings are from 1983, in Europe, US, New Zealand, Australia & New Zealand and more. One of them is RCA PL 70001.
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use PL 70001, AFL1-4847, VPL1 7464, VPLI 7464) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, BilBo.Tape One 020 A-8338 A-2 II Made In Germany and BilBo.Tape One A-8338 B-1 020 Made In Germany. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
