John Knowles. Not to be confused with the "band" (in reality a studio-project) Kincade In 1972, John Knowles was recruited to pose as the front man of Kincade for promotional purposes. He is shown as the (apparently lone) member of Kincade on the cover of their first single "Dreams Are Ten A Penny" (at least on the German, Dutch, Belgian and Spanish releases), and of a Spanish EP of the same name, but didn't contribute to the recording (the song featured vocals by John Carter, the head of the studio-project). Eventually Knowles quit in order to launch a solo career and perform as himself.
