139 vinyl pressings of Shaved Fish are listed here, from 39 countries, released between 1975 and 2014.
The earliest pressings are from 1975, in UK, US, Ireland, Canada and more. One of them is Apple Records PCS 7173, released November 24, 1975.
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use PCS 7173, SW-3421, SW3421, PCTC 7173) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, YEX 949-1U GRR 1 SW-1-3421-Z9 and YEX 950-1U LA MCR 4 SW-2-3429-Z9. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
