Junior Senior were a Danish pop duo, active from 1998 to 2008. The duo consisted of Jesper Mortensen alias Junior (vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards) and Jeppe Laursen alias Senior (vocals, keyboards, programming). Before forming Junior Senior 1998, Mortensen and Laursen had played together for one year during 1995-96 in Ludox. The name is explained by the simple fact that Laursen is the oldest and biggest of the two. The duo signed a deal with Danish label Crunchy Frog and released their debut album 108443 in 2002. It contained the single 40949, with vocals by Thomas Troelsen of Superheroes, that became a massive radio hit in Denmark.
