Kruiz (Russian: Круиз) is a hard rock/heavy metal band from Moscow, Moscow, Russia (former USSR), that was formed in 1980. The history of the band is really complicated: The band was formed in 1980 on the base of ВИА "Молодые Голоса" (Molodye Golosa (Russian: Young Voices)) that was lead by Matvey Anichkin (Матвей Аничкин) (musician and producer) since 1974. In 1978 Matvey Anichkin invited new musicians to the group, including Valeriy Gaina (guitar), Alexander Monin (vocals) and Alexander Kirnitskiy (bass) - full lineup included 12 musicians (also including Nikolay Chunusov on drums and Matvey Anichkin himself on tuba). Since 1978 the band played jazz rock/funk.
