The Lawson-Haggart Jazz Band was founded in 1951 by trumpeteer and bassist , originally as a sextet with trombonist , clarinetist , pianist and drummer . Between 1951 and 1954, they released a number of albums on the label, for which, Haggart also worked as a studio arranger.
