Denis & Denyse LePage were a Montreal-based husband and wife duo who formed the group in the early 1980s. The group name was inspired by a popular downtown Montreal discotheque called 'Lime Light' which would go on to regularly feature their music. The duo also acted as arrangers, producers and collaborators of their own work and that of others on productions such as the successful singles , (among many others). Coauthors include Sandy Wilbour and Joe La Greca. Due to family commitments, both Denyse and Denis opted not to tour as Lime - instead Chris Marsh and were drafted in to provide live vocals over pre-recorded backing tracks.
