Mary Ann Allen. Soul and gospel singer. Active from the 1960s to early 80s as Mary Love. In the mid 80s she reemerged as Mary Love-Comer to sing updated soul with a Christian-centered message. She is considered a "Queen of Northern Soul" music in Europe and the United Kingdom. Was married to Michael Stevenson and, later, Brad Comer. They split up a decade before her death. Mother of (aka ) and Born on 27 July 1942 in Sacramento, California, USA. Died on 21 June 2013.
