Minor Detail was an Irish synthpop band formed in 1981 in Blackrock, Dublin, Ireland. The band primarily consisted of brothers and with occasional collaborators. After signing to in 1983, they produced a self-titled album along with a few singles, with 445713 peaking at number 25 in the Irish charts in October of that year. The group broke up in 1984 but returned in 1986, now signed to RCA. They released two more singles (5529706 and 15295959) before disbanding for good in 1987. John Hughes would go on to become the manager for Irish pop rock band The Corrs, while Willie left the music industry and wrote a religious self-help book titled Do You Want a Miracle? in 2008.
