Prominent Czechoslovak traditional folklore ensemble founded in Brno in 1960 by musician, arranger, and conductor Jindřich Hovorka. The group originally performed under the name "Cimbálová muzika Hynka Bíma" before cementing its long-term identity as Moravská cimbálová muzika. The ensemble distinguished itself by focusing heavily on the authentic instrumental execution and preservation of folklore from lesser-known ethnographic sub-regions of Moravia, including the Brno, Haná, Horácko, and Hanácké Slovácko regions.
