Questions

How many vinyl pressings of Overkill are there?

69 vinyl pressings of Overkill are listed here, from 16 countries, released between 1979 and 2025.

When was Overkill first released on vinyl?

The earliest pressings are from 1979, in UK, France, Australia, Germany and more. One of them is Bronze BRON 515, released March 16, 1979.

How do I tell if my copy of Overkill is a first pressing?

Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use BRON 515, BRO 2032, 893032, L36896) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, BRON 515 A-2U AC G1 [Utopia lyre symbol] and BRON 515 B-1U GG [Utopia lyre symbol]. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.

How much is Overkill on vinyl worth?

It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
