Questions

How many vinyl pressings of Graceland are there?

78 vinyl pressings of Graceland are listed here, from 29 countries, released between 1986 and 2020.

When was Graceland first released on vinyl?

The earliest pressings are from 1986, in US, UK, Europe, Australia and more. One of them is Warner Bros. Records 1-25447, released August 25, 1986.

How do I tell if my copy of Graceland is a first pressing?

Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use 1-25447, 9 25447-1, W1-25447, 9254471) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, 12 5447-A RE2-SH1 B-23620-Re2-SH1 STERLING DMM Δ12646 1-1 and 1-2 5447-B RE 1-DMM SH4 B-23621-Re1-SH4 STERLING DMM Δ12646-X 2-6. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.

How much is Graceland on vinyl worth?

It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
