Questions

How many vinyl pressings of Siegfried are there?

37 vinyl pressings of Siegfried are listed here, from 12 countries, released between 1963 and 2023.

When was Siegfried first released on vinyl?

The earliest pressings are from 1963, in UK, US, Australia, France and more. One of them is Decca MET 242/6, released April 1963.

How do I tell if my copy of Siegfried is a first pressing?

Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use MET 242/6, SET 242/6, OSA 1508, META/SETA 242/6) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, ARL-5742-1A and ARL-5743-2A. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.

How much is Siegfried on vinyl worth?
