Shu-bi-dua or Shu•bi•dua was a Danish pop group formed in 1973 that gained enormous popularity in the 1970's and 1980's, by many considered Denmarks "National band", popularity spanning several generations. The band was in essence becoming Shu-bi-dua because of a change in musical direction and singing language. Lead singer Michael Bundesen left the band in 1984 for a media executive career but returned in 1987 and remained until 2011 when he had a brain hemorrhage that left him paralyzed on the left side and unable to continue. From then on the band's music legacy was mainly carried on in various settings by various band members.
