Questions
How many vinyl pressings of Skyway are there?
18 vinyl pressings of Skyway are listed here, from 13 countries, released between 1980 and 1982.
When was Skyway first released on vinyl?
The earliest pressings are from 1980, in US, Australia, Brazil, Canada and more. One of them is Salsoul Records SA 8532, released January 3, 1980.
How do I tell if my copy of Skyway is a first pressing?
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use SA 8532, 3060014, 104.8151, LP 2043) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, A3A SA-8532-A 1 STERLING I and A2C SA-8532-B 1 STERLING I. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
How much is Skyway on vinyl worth?
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
