A British group based in Paris, where they made a name for themselves playing on the streets and in small venues. They were known for their distinctive sound, incorporating instruments rarely heard in pop music, such as the accordion, clarinet, and double bass. The band consisted of Sebastian Walton (acoustic guitar and vocals, leader and songwriter), Peter Dimler (accordion and vocals), Simon Murley (clarinet and vocals), and Michael Blakey (double bass and vocals). Discovered professionally at Cannes during the film festival, they achieved international popularity with their LP and the song "Some Folks," a hit throughout Europe in 1981.
