20 vinyl pressings of Floy Joy are listed here, from 13 countries.
The earliest pressings are from 1972, in US, UK, Australia, Brazil and more. One of them is Motown M751L.
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use M751L, M 751L DJ, STML 11210, STMLO 10089) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, HS-1957-1 M-751 L TVC B4RS-2668-1 D ⁄|⁄ǀ⁄|⁄ǀ⁄|⁄K and HS-1958-3 B4RS-2669-1 D TVC M-751 L ⁄|⁄ǀ⁄|⁄ǀ⁄|⁄K. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
