Tiger B. Smith is a blues/progressive/hard rock band from Bad Camberg, Hesse, Germany, that was formed in 1965 under the name Groove. In 1968, the band changed its name to Whiteface, then in 1969 to Second Life and finally in 1972 to Tiger B. Smith. Tiger B. Smith was indeed a prominent German heavy rock band from Bad Camberg, known for their blend of progressive fuzz-blues rock and heavy, instrumental passages. Their music was heavily influenced by iconic bands such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Edgar Broughton Band, Hawkwind, and Black Sabbath. This eclectic mix of inspirations, combined with their dynamic performances, helped them carve out a unique sound in the early 1970s.
