Questions

How many vinyl pressings of Achtung Baby are there?

58 vinyl pressings of Achtung Baby are listed here, from 25 countries, released between 1991 and 2023.

When was Achtung Baby first released on vinyl?

The earliest pressings are from 1991, in Europe, US, Argentina, Italy and more. One of them is Island Records 212 110, released November 19, 1991.

How do I tell if my copy of Achtung Baby is a first pressing?

Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use 212 110, 510347-1, U28, 314-510 347-1) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, 020 212110 A-1 II (U2 8-A-9) ℗ [illegible] [SRC logo] AA 314-510-347-I-AS-SP2 1-1 SMI-2 and 020 212110-B-1 (U2 8-B-9) ℗ [illegible] [SRC logo] 314-510-347-I-BS-SP2 AA 1-1 SMI-1. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.

How much is Achtung Baby on vinyl worth?

It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
