38 vinyl pressings of The Strawberry Statement are listed here, from 11 countries, released between 1970 and 1990.
The earliest pressings are from 1970, in US, Australia, Canada, France and more. One of them is MGM Records 2SE-14ST, released August 3, 1970.
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use 2SE-14ST, 2MS-2031, 2MS 2031, MS 2031/1-2) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, 2 SE 14 ST S-1 MGS 2338 REV QG 8/3/70 and 2 SE 14 ST S-1 MGS 2339. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
