The childhood friends, both from musical families, became members of Prince's band and appeared in the movies "3140415" & "268031". After Prince disbanded they formed in 1987 the duo and built up a second foothold by writing/recording music for various film & TV productions like NBC's "Heroes", or Showtime’s "Nurse Jackie".
