18 vinyl pressings of Dance Floor are listed here, from 7 countries.
The earliest pressings are from 1982, in US, Brazil, Japan, Kenya and more. One of them is Warner Bros. Records 7-29961.
Check the catalog number on the label (first-year pressings use 7-29961, PRO-A-1043, 16.235, P-1692) and the codes etched in the runout groove, then compare them with the pressings listed above; for example, 7 - 2996(over a 7)1 AOH 0017- V1 - SDJ - SRI DP 1 and 7 - 29961 AOH 0017- V2 - SDJ - SRI SP. \-P. Later reissues often keep the catalog number but change the label design or the runout codes.
It depends on which pressing you have and on the condition of the record and its sleeve. Early pressings from the album's home country in near mint condition are usually worth the most; common later reissues are worth far less. Scan your copy with VinylLens to see its value for every grade.
